Our History

The Lacarini Brothers have a long history of production and quality. It all started with the arrival of Luiz Lacarini, who came from Italy along with other immigrants, to help in the Brazilian crops. He was sent to the region of Valinhos, where he worked for years as a settler collecting money to buy a place in there, where the headquarters of our productions is to this day.

It started with the planting of fruits such as pineapples, grapes and apples. In mid 1964 the planting of figs initiated, which would become the main product of our company.

At the beginning our products were sold to Ceasa in Campinas-SP and to hawkers from all over the region, but as production was consolidated, sales to Ceasa in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro were expanded.

In 1987, new land was bought and we expanded our plantations and started exporting to several European countries.

We have fig trees with over 50 years still producing in abundance thanks to new pruning techniques that allow new branches and leaves to be created to accommodate the new figs all year round. Thanks to all this commitment to always maintain the quality of our products, we are among the largest producers of purple fig in Brazil, but still sustaining the entire production pattern widely known for our ethics, quality and honesty, always striving for quality and the taste of the products we offer.

Currently, Lacarini Brothers is run by Haroldo Bruno Lacarini and his brother Luiz Antoni Lacarini and they're already preparing the new generation to take over the family business.
