Our Figs

The fig tree has a very long life, but it can start producing figs from as early as six months old. Its main season of production is between November and April, undergoing annual pruning so that it can release more branches and leaves to accommodate new figs. However, due to the new pruning techniques, it is possible to obtain figs all year round without impairing its quality, thus maintaining the entire market.

Ripe Fig

The fig, after ripening, is removed from the tree and sent to shacks where they are packed in drawers containing 6 to 8 figs and then in new transport containers with 3 drawers each.

Frozen Ripe Figs

The fig, after ripening, is removed from the tree and put in plastic boxes and sent to our cold rooms where they are frozen and kept at a temperature of -15 degrees Celsius.

Figs for Export

The fig is removed from the tree when it has just grown and is starting to get ripe, in order for it to arrive in good conditions for consumption. It is then packed in specific boxes depending on the country or distributor that will receive it and forwarded to the exporter for it to be shipped.

Green Figs

The green figs at the end of the harvest are intended for the specialized industries that prepare them to become candy, jellies, fillings, etc.
